1. About Us
Welcome to La Wig Maison.
These Terms & Conditions apply when you visit our website or purchase products or services from La Wig Maison. Throughout these Terms, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to La Wig Maison, and “you” refers to the customer.
Our online store is hosted by Shopify, which provides the ecommerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. However, all purchases made through this website are made directly with La Wig Maison.
By placing an order with us, you agree to these Terms & Conditions together with our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy and Return & Refund Policy.
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
2. Our Wigs & Custom-Made Products
La Wig Maison specialises in custom-made and customised wigs.
Our wigs may be created and customised according to specifications selected or provided by you, which may include head measurements, cap size, length, lace type, colour, parting, styling and other customisation options available for the particular product.
It is your responsibility to provide accurate measurements and other information requested when placing your order. We cannot accept responsibility for fitting issues caused by measurements supplied incorrectly by the customer.
We make every reasonable effort to ensure that product photographs, descriptions and colours accurately represent our products. However, colours may appear slightly different due to lighting, photography, screen settings and the natural characteristics of human hair.
As human hair is a natural product, minor variations between units may occur. These variations do not affect your statutory rights, including your right to receive goods that are as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose.
3. Orders
Please check all order details carefully before completing your purchase, including your selected length, colour, lace options, measurements, delivery address and any other customisation details.
Once your order has been successfully placed and payment has been received, you will receive an order confirmation.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including where there has been an obvious pricing or product information error, suspected fraudulent activity, or we are unable to fulfil the order. If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, you will receive an appropriate refund.
4. Cancellations & Custom Orders
We currently provide a 15-minute cancellation window after an eligible order is placed through our online store.
Because our wigs are made to the customer’s specifications and/or clearly personalised, the standard change-of-mind cancellation right applicable to many online purchases may not apply to these products.
Once the applicable cancellation window has passed and your custom order is being processed, we may be unable to accept cancellation or change-of-mind requests.

This does not affect your statutory rights if an item is faulty, not as described or otherwise does not conform to your legal rights as a consumer.
5. Production Time
Each made-to-order wig requires time for sourcing, construction, customisation and finishing.
Please allow approximately 10–15 working days for production unless a different timeframe is stated on the relevant product page or agreed with you.
Production time is separate from delivery time and begins once we have received the information reasonably required to begin your order.
Working days exclude Saturdays, Sundays and UK bank holidays.
We will contact you if we become aware of a significant delay affecting your order.
6. Prices & Payment
All prices displayed on our website are shown in the currency indicated on the website.
The price applicable to your order will be the price displayed when you place the order, subject to correction of obvious pricing errors.
Delivery charges, where applicable, will be displayed before you complete your purchase.
International customers may be responsible for customs duties, import taxes or other charges imposed by their destination country. Unless expressly stated otherwise, these charges are not included in our prices or delivery charges.
Payment must be successfully authorised before an order can be processed.
7. Shipping & Delivery
Delivery times shown on our website apply after the 10–15 working-day production period, unless otherwise stated.
Estimated delivery times are provided in our Shipping Policy and at checkout where applicable.
We will take reasonable steps to dispatch and deliver orders within the stated or agreed timeframe. Occasionally, delays may occur due to circumstances outside our reasonable control, such as courier disruption, severe weather or customs delays.
Please ensure that the delivery address supplied when ordering is complete and accurate.

8. Returns, Refunds & Faulty Goods
As our wigs are made to the customer’s specifications and/or clearly personalised, they are generally not eligible for return or refund simply because you change your mind where the applicable legal exemption applies.
However, your statutory rights are not affected.
If an item is faulty, damaged, not as described, or you receive an incorrect item, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible at info@lawigmaison.com, providing your order number and relevant photographs or videos where appropriate.
Depending on the circumstances and your statutory rights, an appropriate remedy may include repair, replacement, price reduction or refund.

9. Customer Measurements & Fit
Where a wig is made according to measurements supplied by you, you are responsible for ensuring those measurements are accurate.
We provide measurement guidance to help customers obtain the correct measurements.
If a wig has been correctly made according to the measurements you supplied, an incorrect customer measurement will not by itself mean that the product is faulty.
If we have made the wig incorrectly compared with the measurements or specifications you supplied and agreed with us, please contact us so that we can investigate and provide an appropriate remedy where required.
10. Colour & Natural Hair Variations
We take reasonable care to represent wig colours accurately.
However, colours may appear different depending on lighting conditions, photography and the screen or device used to view our website.
Because human hair is a natural material, there may also be minor natural variations in colour, texture or characteristics between units.
Where a custom colour service is provided, we will aim to achieve the agreed colour or reference as closely as reasonably possible. Exact replication can sometimes be affected by the natural characteristics and starting colour of the hair.
Nothing in this section limits your statutory rights where a product is materially different from what was agreed or described.
11. Care of Your Wig
Customers are responsible for following appropriate wig-care instructions after receiving their order.
Damage resulting from misuse, inappropriate products, excessive heat, improper colouring or chemical processing, alterations by the customer or another person, or failure to follow reasonable care instructions will not normally constitute a product fault.
This does not affect your rights in relation to a defect that was present when the product was supplied.
12. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the content of this website, including the La Wig Maison name and branding, logos, original photographs, product images, videos, graphics, text and website content, belongs to La Wig Maison or is used by us with permission.
You may use our website for your personal, non-commercial use.
You must not reproduce, copy, distribute, modify or commercially use our original content without our prior permission, except where permitted by law.
Third-party trademarks and materials remain the property of their respective owners.
13. Reviews & Customer Content
If you voluntarily submit a review, photograph, video or other content to us for publication or promotional use, you confirm that you have the right to provide that content.
Where appropriate, we may ask for your permission before using identifiable customer photographs or videos for marketing purposes.
We reserve the right not to publish or to remove content that is unlawful, abusive, misleading or otherwise inappropriate.
14. Website Use
You must not use our website for unlawful or fraudulent purposes or attempt to interfere with its security, operation or functionality.
You must not knowingly introduce viruses, malicious code or other harmful material.
We may restrict access to our website where reasonably necessary to protect our business, customers or systems.
15. Third-Party Services
Our website may use or link to third-party services, including payment providers, delivery providers and Shopify.
Where you use a third-party service, that provider may have its own applicable terms and privacy practices.
La Wig Maison remains responsible for its obligations to you as the retailer where required by law.
16. Liability & Your Statutory Rights
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, or any rights or remedies you have under applicable consumer law.
In particular, nothing in these Terms removes your statutory rights in relation to goods that are faulty, not as described, of unsatisfactory quality or not fit for purpose.
We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was made, except where the law provides otherwise.
17. Privacy
Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We use Shopify and other service providers to operate our store and process transactions. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for information about how personal information is collected, used and shared.
18. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes to our business, website or applicable law.
The Terms applicable to your purchase will generally be those in effect when your order is placed, except where a change is required by law.
19. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the United Kingdom or another country, you may also benefit from mandatory consumer protections applicable in the place where you live, where those protections cannot lawfully be excluded.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to restrict any rights you may have to bring proceedings in a court with jurisdiction under applicable law.
